How To Apply
Make the Application in the prescribed format. (Annexure 'F')
Documents required
- Up-to-date house tax receipt.
- Color photograph of the existing building showing all four directions.
- Latest original copy of the Survey Plan.
- NOC from the owner in case the premises are being occupied by any other occupants other than the owner.
- Latest original copy of the index of land. (Form 'D' / 'B')
- Documents showing ownership of land i.e. sale deed/Gift deed/ allotment deed/ succession deed/ lease deed and will (Notarised)
- Latest paid trade tax/signboard tax receipt for a commercial establishment.
Process
Application and required documents should be submitted in the inward section.
Scrutiny of the file is done by the Engineering Section/technical section.
The letter is sent to the applicant calling for the site inspection along with additional documents if any to be submitted that are required based on scrutiny of the file.
If the submission is in order and the proposed repairs are within the framework of building bylaws, the proposed repair is recommended for approval. If other the applicant has to comply with the shortcomings.
After the payment of fees, the applicant is issued the License for repair. The repair license is valid for three months.
